"Fascinating people--the ones with the best stories--are people who are still living while they are alive."--Dr Mell, "Age Up!"
Dr. Mell, your quote of, “……people who are still living while they are alive” is one of the best I’ve ever heard. Sounds simple, but it’s not. So many older people I know who have died while they are still alive.
Thank you, Bob. I agree with you: “it SOUNDS simple, but it’s not.” (I apologize for not replying sooner.)
This glorious life can be harsh and, as you can witness in your own experience, I feel the people you’re describing who have died while they are still alive have fallen into the natural sadness from loss and haven’t found their way out. Perhaps they want.
For my own life, I want to live freely and seek as much joy as I can while I’m still breathing. I have loss in my life just like every human on this dear Earth, but I want happiness to overcome it. I want to flourish. And that’s my prayer for you, too.
Thank you for taking the time to comment here. Be well, My Friend.
